Bridge

Form and Function

Expression of Truth & Beauty

In this project, our main focus is to explore the relationship between form and function. Our goal is to think creatively and design structures that are not only visually appealing but also serve a practical purpose. The challenge was to transform an existing bridge into a structure that allows water traffic to pass through an opening.

Design Process & Analogy

Eyelash Curler Mechanism

I chose my eyelash curler as an analogy for a bridge because both serve as tools for enhancing and connecting elements in a way that may not be immediately apparent. Just as a bridge connects two separate pieces of land, allowing for the smooth flow of traffic and facilitating movement, an eyelash curler connects the individual eyelashes, transforming their appearance and enhancing the overall aesthetic of the eye.
